AWARDS AND DISTINCTIONS*: Elan is the recipient of both the ‘People’s Choice Award’ at the Montreal Fringe and “Best Ensemble Cast’ winner at the Fringe in New York; both for his work in the play Leaf in the Mailbox which he wrote and performed the lead role. Most recently Elan received a Best Director Nomination in the 2006 Strawberry One-Act Festival where his play, This Is Your Life which he wrote, directed and acted in, progressed to the finals and received publication. He is currently writing a one man show, a screenplay, and a book for children.
